Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. She has been a part of the fringes of traditional and popular music since her teens she also delves into other genres such as Hip-Hop Soul and Trap. Her voice is called by no less of a talent than Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet but with a bite like the old ones. El Mal Querer gained her notoriety and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. This album won her an award called the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami is her 3rd album that was full-length. The album featured songs written in collaboration with other performers and producers like Cory Henry. The release came in the month of March 2022, following a performance of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish solo performer to be a part of Saturday Night Live. In addition to winning three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
